Under the theme "The Path of Destiny," the Speaker of the National Assembly, Honorable Gelase Daniel Ndabirabe, joined the faithful of the Rock S.S.I Church during the Sunday worship service on December 24, 2023, on the eve of Christmas.

Evangelist Emery Ndaboroheye, the preacher of the day, addressed the subject of "the love of God" by referring to the scripture from 1 Corinthians 13: 1-4. He also highlighted six points from John 3:16 that illustrate divine love, affirming that:
1. God is love;
2. God loved the world;
3. God gave everything;
4. God gave his only son;
5. Whoever believes in God;
6. Will have eternal life.

Evangelist Ndaboroheye also emphasized that love for one’s neighbor is the pillar of life. One who loves their neighbor shows patience, kindness, never betrays, and even respects others in their absence. In short, love does not boast and endures all.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Honorable Gelase Daniel Ndabirabe, based his comments on the teachings of the day. To explain the love for others that should characterize each one of us, the Speaker of the Burundian Lower House of Parliament gave the example of those who sacrifice their lives on the battlefield for the lives of others. According to him, love is not limited to words but is manifested through concrete actions.
The Right Honorable Gelase Daniel Ndabirabe also strongly condemned the heinous attack perpetrated against the innocent people of Gatumba and prayed for God’s forgiveness towards the perpetrators of this act, as they do not know the love of God.
