Corporate administration is a concept that refers to all the administrative activities and processes that are put in place within an organization or institution. It encompasses human resources management, strategic planning, financial management, internal and external communication as well as the implementation of policies and programs. The aim of corporate administration is to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization, by making sure that resources are used optimally to achieve set objectives. It is therefore essential to the smooth running and sustainability of any institution.

It is in this context that the Secretary General of the National Assembly, Mr Ferdinand Sindarironka, presented the new administrative structures of this institution to the personnel at a meeting held on September 5, 2023, at the Kigobe Congress Palace led by the Right Honorable Gelase Daniel Ndabirabe, Speaker and Manager of this legislative institution.

This initiative, which was prepared over a period of three years, is part of a drive to modernize and rationalize work processes within the National Assembly. The new administrative structures have been designed to improve the administration of the National Assembly while ensuring optimum management of human and material resources.

This approach is designed to enhance the quality of the services that the National Assembly provides while meeting the needs of today’s society. It demonstrates the National Assembly’s commitment to the highest standards of governance and management.
Besides the presentation of the National Assembly’s new organizational structure, various documents were shown to the staff who were present, including the manual of administrative, financial and accounting procedures, the institutional reform document, the internal regulations, the parliamentary staff regulations and the internal instructions. The presentation provided essential information on the procedures and rules governing the National Assembly’s operations. It also clarified the roles and responsibilities of each member of staff, thereby contributing to a better understanding of the organization and how it works.

Staff were given a number of tips on how to reinforce respect for hierarchical authority in order to maintain a healthy and productive working environment.
"You need to be aware of your position in the chain of command and your role in the management. It is also essential to respect the decisions taken by those above you and to communicate appropriately with them", the Speaker of the National Assembly emphasized. Finally, it is recommended that you demonstrate professionalism and courtesy, whatever your position in the hierarchy.

The personnel expressed their most sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed to the success of that new administrative structure for their dedication and devoted commitment to the success of this noble work.
For a long time, this institution has survived without law or any kind of order. The Right Honorable Gelase Daniel Ndabirabe has made an unforgettable history. One can undoubtedly describe him as a responsible political manager. His enlightened vision and eloquent leadership have restored order to this prestigious institution. His insight and dedication have been highly praised. He is a symbol of excellence and greatness, a true pillar of society.
