The Right Honorable speaker of the National Assembly, the Right Honorable Gelase Daniel Ndabirabe, strongly condemns the corrupt justice providers who manipulate and distort the law for personal gain, instead of promoting fair justice for all. He acknowledges the existence of judicial independence but laments the corruption among magistrates to the extent that each one interprets the same law differently. He calls on religious denominations to raise awareness among their faithful working in the justice sector to change their futile attitudes.

During the Sunday worship service on October 22, 2023, at the Church of the Rock, the Right Honorable Ndabirabe and his family attended the teaching of the word of God based on Exodus 3: 3-15. Pastor Isaac Mbonimpa emphasized that God chooses a person for the salvation of others, citing examples such as Noah, Abraham, David, Isaac, Moses, Mary the mother of Jesus Christ, Joseph the son of Jacob, Rwagasore Louis, Ndadaye Melchior, etc. He also added that God created us for the benefit of others and that we must transcend selfish interests to seek the public interest and the well-being of others, as we were created for others.

Pastor Mbonimpa stressed that even if a representative encounters difficulties, God always remains by their side, to the extent that the will of Almighty God ultimately triumphs and the mission assigned by the Lord succeeds despite everything. He also added that the criteria for choosing leaders for God differ from those of men.

He concluded his teaching by addressing the audience, urging them to show humility, avoid the pitfalls that await leaders, respect them, and let the will of God be fulfilled through the chosen leaders.
In his speech, the Speaker of the National Assembly expressed his deep appreciation for the teaching provided by Pastor Isaac Mbonimpa. He emphasized that it is God Himself who chooses a leader, using the example of the late President Pierre Nkurunziza, who was appointed by God to bear the burden of the problems that Burundi was facing. Furthermore, he mentioned that the choice of Pierre Nkurunziza had been predicted by the prophets, the servants of God.

He also affirmed that God has a mission for every individual He has created. In the fulfillment of this mission, there are both facilitations and difficulties. According to the Right Honorable Ndabirabe, the enigma lies in the fact that God never reveals how the assigned mission is defined. However, He remains in control in all circumstances and never experiences failure, as His word always comes to pass. Only God knows how things should unfold.

However, the Speaker of the National Assembly earnestly urges leaders to play an essential role in accomplishing the mission entrusted to them by God. He also highlights that God may subject leaders to trials in order to strengthen their abilities to carry out the divine project. He advises leaders to never lament or complain against God, but rather to pray and implore for divine strength and wisdom.

Indeed, what may seem difficult for man is easy for the Almighty, for nothing is impossible for God. He implores his audience to maintain hope that the difficulties our country is facing will find solutions, as the President of the Republic, the divine chosen one for Burundi, is exerting all necessary efforts to ensure the smooth progress of things.
