The Honorable Ntakarutimana, elected in the prestigious constituency of Muyinga, was honored with her presence at the first historic meeting of the inhabitants of the new Buhumuza province, of which she is a proud member, at this memorable event held on September 2, 2023 in Cankuzo, in a sumptuous and refined setting.

In his speech, which began with an expression of gratitude to Almighty God for preserving the lives of the participants throughout their journeys, thus enabling the meeting to take place; the distinguished 1st Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly pointed out that the aim of the meeting was to enable the people of the Buhumuza province comes 2025 to meet and exchange views on the strategies to be undertaken to develop this administrative entity, already established by organic law N° 1/05 of March 16, 2023 (in accordance with its article 3) on the determination and delimitation of the provinces, communes, zones, villages or quarters of the Republic of Burundi.

It was also an opportunity to foster ties and strengthen social relations between the various populations that make up the Buhumuza province, in all their splendor, a moment of conviviality and sharing, where exchanges were imbued with a rare elegance and exquisite delicacy.

In order to promote the province’s development, Honorable Ntakarutimana Sabine encourages the identification of existing opportunities and the development of a roadmap to achieve the objectives in view. Nothing could be truer than this statement: without inter-societal love, everything is doomed to failure. The First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly emphasizes the imperative need for love between the natives of this province, so that any initiative envisaged can be crowned with success. Tranquility is also the keystone of any prosperous development. The need to reinforce peace and security, the foundations of sustainable development, is indispensable, she insisted. Finally, she urged the population to work diligently and urged leaders to take the lead.
